Best Time to Visit the Republic of Congo

Short Answer: Southern part of the Republic of Congo, mid-June to mid-September. Northern parts, late-December through February.

Longer Answer: Temperatures are somewhat stable given its position on the equator, however, the southern climes of the Republic of Congo are slightly more comfortable and dry in the June through September months. Rain tends to taper off in June and come back in September or October.

In the northern parts of the Republic of Congo, the dry season occurs in the December through February timeframe, with rain petering out sometime in December and coming back in March.

You should tend to avoid the Republic of Congo in March, April, early May, October, November and early December.
