The best time would be somewhere between May and October, due to the rainy season between November and April. Year-round you can expect humidity and heat. Nauru does not get cyclone but does experience thunderstorms and strong winds.

Nauru is home to a detention facility which earns revenue from Australia. Refugees are granted 5-year stays there. There isn’t much to do in Nauru and the population is in decline. A visa is most certainly required.
