Happy Holidays & New Year!Tak's dispatch released on 30 December 2014

Exploring Phu Quoc
Back about a year ago, coding and planning on the site began. It has been a mountain of work putting all the pieces together from conceptualization to coding to content but has been well worth it thus far, with a functioning site humming along. In the coming year, I hope to include a bunch more countries into the high-level travel guides section and certainly get a bunch more visual content up. Thanks a bunch for checking out the site.

There isn’t so much content that I can put up Best Of lists or anything, but I had a lot of fun doing the research that went into the fruit posts found in Edition #004: Fruit in Vietnam (Part 1) and Edition #005: Fruit in Vietnam (Part II). If you haven’t already checked those out, I’d suggest the read. If you are more into the narrative storylines, check out Edition #007: Chau Doc and Tra Su, Vietnam which narrates the experience in and around Chau Doc, Vietnam.

Excluding further adventures in Vietnam, I will bring you content from Myanmar aka Burma (where the internet and electricity might throw some wrenches into things) and possibly South Korea for a short jaunt including some bibimbap.

Well, thanks again for checking out the blog and site this year. Edition# 011, with adventures from Hoi An, Vietnam, will hit the blog next Tuesday.

Have a great end of the old year and a great beginning of the new,
Tak
