Let’s kick this off with something so inane but important – a small jar (or what I call a bottle about 100 times in the review) to hold liquids, gels and other such nefarious things while traveling. Today we review the Nalgene PC Clear Jar – which is a small airport-security approved (as in small enough) container that you can carry-on. As noted in the review, I needed some small small, light jars for carrying liquids & gels & such and purchased some Up & Up Cosmetic Jars at Target. Those disintegrated and made a mess. I then found the Nalgene PC Clear Jar on Amazon.

Because the TSA and other airport security teams currently want liquids & gels to be under 3oz (100ml), the Nalgene PC Clear Jar containers we are most interested in are the 1 oz (30 ml) and 2 oz (60ml).

Tip from 2018: I have found these Nalgene PC Clear Jars at The Container Store. You can buy them cheaper than at Amazon and can see the sizes in real life. They don’t carry everything but it has the standards (at least here at the stores in NYC). -Tak
